My cards are, based on your scans, of similar quality to yours.
Would PSA or SCG or WTF card grading company allow me to pay them a fee, put my cards into plastic cases, and give each of my cards (their opinion of) a grade? Would that grade be a 9? Or only an 8.72865? Or maybe I would get an 8.72866? Dare I say a 9.00001? We'll never know. I suppose that any grading company would be happy to accept a fee from me, but of the 42,628 different pre-1993 Topps cards that I own, a grand total of zero are graded. I stand by my original post. Every graded 9 card began life with a cost considerably less than $15, they are still out there. I'll bet Ted Z has a bunch of them. I'm sorry that you are so disappointed with how your slabs sold, I'm also sorry that you (and too many others) treat the cards inside the slabs as an afterthought. To each his own, I suppose, but it's sad. Best regards, Doug Last edited by doug.goodman; 05-21-2010 at 10:17 PM. Reason: because I can |
