Two terrific rare early images of Gehrig doing all the little things that would help mold him into a great leader of his teammates.
I think Lou had a pretty simple approach, which was... lead by example and hit the crap out of the ole horsehide!  Great pick ups Mark. I must say that you are really showing a very keen eye in your choosing of photos! Well done Mark, well done indeed. BTW... Henry Yee's listings today are mostly Movie Stars, Politics, Historic Moments, Music, and Americana and there are many incredibly photos. Many of which are as iconic as they get.
