I was assessing my T206 Cubs backs and came across a F.F. Baker stamped Steinfeldt (pd350/25). I had another Baker stamped card on a C. Griffith port I bought in Ohio a long time ago and recently sold. The Steinfeldt must have been traded to Baker because there are two previous stamps under it. One appears to be a crest of some sort and the other say's "H........." and then "RICHMOND VA".
The Griffith and the Steinfeldt were purchased by me almost twenty years apart in different states so I'm curious how they got around and if anyone knows. *previous threads mention the stamp but no history of the collector. Thanks, Eric |
