Thanks to SteveD pointing me to a new site for old newspapers, I was finally able to pin down the starting date for the 1916 Green-Joyce cards and confirm that they followed Mendelsohn's marketing plan for department stores to sell these over the course of ten weeks in 20-card series. This is from the April 28, 1916 Columbus Dispatch (p.28):
![]() I now have a starting date for all of the 1916 department store issues except Block & Kuhl. Any help appreciated.
