The information in the first response isn't entirely correct. JSA partnered with SGC for slabbed items for its first few years of being in existence, as they didn't (and still don't) have slabbing equipment of their own. Spence didn't authenticate/work for SGC. Later, they did the same thing with Beckett prior to Beckett forming their own autograph authentication division. And of course, SGC also had such a division for a time after the partnership with JSA ceased.
It's confounding that JSA still hasn't been bothered developing a slab of their own. Seems like they're just steering huge piles of money to their competitors as a result. Last edited by BillyCoxDodgers3B; 10-15-2023 at 04:09 AM.
