World Cup
I was maniacal enough to wake up at 3 am to watch USWNT. Wow, that
was lame- by the US, anyway. It very, very much looks like this team falls short on a) technical skill and b) team unity/cohesion. In the past, it's only taken 1 of those 2 to win. Portugal should have won late, it's pure luck US didn't lose 0-1. They were outplayed in 2 of the 3 Group matches and are down Lavelle in the round of 16. The harsh (but apparently correct) commentary of recent retiree Carli Lloyd is very revealing. That locker room must be a nightmare. They better change or they won't make quarters. Trent King
