I haven't sold anything on ebay in about ten years. I was planning to list an item in the 5k-7k range, but am very paranoid about a situation like this happening. I really don't want to lose the auction money + the investment I already have into the item.
The item won't be able to go to the ebay authentication services. So, just straight to the buyer. How do you all ship your high value items? What should I do to make sure I'm protected from scammy buyers in the current ebay landscape? I've been told by a few people to do registered mail at USPS.
