August pickups
An unimaginably great week for this Dave Hoskins collector. Here are two cards that are really tough and I landed both.
The first is his 1952 Globe Printing Dallas Eagles card, given out at some number (possibly only one) of Eagles home games that season. Unlike many photo cards these are roughly standard Baseball card size. The second is from a 200+ ”card” set of stickers in 2017 commemorating 100 years of the Magallanes Baseball Club (Venezuela). Not only didn’t I know this sticker existed until last week, I didn’t even know Hoskins played in Venezuela!   Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
