I guess one good thing for the likes of us is that we've been in the hobby for enough years that we preceded a lot of the more current nonsense going on. And hopefully were able to find and acquire items that aren't so easy (and cheap) to acquire anymore. And we also probably know a little bit more than the average collector (at least I hope so) when it comes to vintage/pre-war.

I do know that I'd really hate to be starting out in the hobby these days now. It is a lot different than it was 20-30 years ago, that is for sure. LOL

There was as much if not more fraud 20-30 years ago as there is now. Much of it from the same group of clowns.
