Default Early Philadelphia Athletics tickets

I thought I might share some information on early Philadelphia Athletics tickets. I see these on occasion, they have the date, but not the year. I have have been told they all come from the same source.

The A's played at Columbia Park from 1901 to 1908, and then in 1909 they moved to Shibe Park. Note the tickets listed 1909 and after have Shibe Park printed on them.

The 1908's width is different from the '05 to '07 Also, the print is different, best seen in "American League Base Ball Club". Another difference in the 1908 is the t being dropped from 25 ct. I can find no difference in the '05 to '07.

There is a small shift of "Good for ..." to the right going from 1904 to 1905. Credit Bryan Rappoport with the 1904 scan. Would love to see if anyone has an example from 1901 to 1903.

Philadelphia Athletics HoFers from this period ('04 to '13): Eddie Plank, Rube Waddell, Chief Bender, Eddie Collins, Jimmy Collins, Home Run Baker, Stan Coveleski, Herb Pennock
