![]() William Paterson was a businessman and politician who lived in Canada a hundred years ago. He had a confectionery company in Brantford, Ontario, that produced a couple of popular hockey sets during the 1920s. The first hockey set that was put out by this company, the V145-1, is the most popular since it has the rookies of Howie Morenz, Frank Clancy, Aurčle Joliat and more. However, I was surprised to find out recently that a super-rare baseball set was also released by this company around the same time as the hockey cards. Known as the V89's, this set has some all-greats such as Ruth, Cobb and Hornsby. Here is the Ruth below: ![]() Is there anyone here who owns these baseball cards? If so, then show them off here! |
