Is COMC 'owned' by Ebay now??

I recently bought a couple of 1960's Mays cards off of COMC, so I had to purchase additional credit via Paypal/CC. When I just now checked my credit card statement, the charge says "PAYPAL *EBAY US" next to it. WTF?? Did I miss something? I was completely unaware of this being the case. When did this happen?? They should give me ebay bucks for those purchases.
