Can anyone tell me what team this is or the year?
Picked up this VERY cool baseball jersey.
I have no idea where this team is from, or what year(s)? Is this possibly a Japanese internment (WWII) jersey? Another idea was possibly a California league? I thought maybe there was once a Japanese amateur league there? Does anyone know anything about it? The right sleeve says "BE"; and the left sleeve has a "6". The seller helped me, and he found a reference to the name on the back buying some cattle in Utah. But then I found the same name in two other references owning a horse or something in Connecticut or Mass. So I guess what I am saying is that I have no idea! Any information would be great!
