Can anyone tell me what team this is or the year?
 

Picked up this VERY cool baseball jersey.

I have no idea where this team is from, or what year(s)?

Is this possibly a Japanese internment (WWII) jersey?
Another idea was possibly a California league? I thought maybe there was once a Japanese amateur league there?

Does anyone know anything about it?

The right sleeve says "BE"; and the left sleeve has a "6".

The seller helped me, and he found a reference to the name on the back buying some cattle in Utah.
But then I found the same name in two other references owning a horse or something in Connecticut or Mass.
So I guess what I am saying is that I have no idea!

Any information would be great!

More information:

Seller said he got it in Ogden, Utah.

It is made of a very soft cloth, kind of like felt.

My Google search didn't turn up too many E.C. Wixons. There's a Eugene Clarence Wixom who lived not far from Ogden throughout much of he 20th century, and I'm going to guess he sponsored a team of Japanese American players in the 1950s.

A team called the Nisies played in Alberta Canada fro 1952-1958. No Wixons on the rosters I can find.

it is the only one I can find a picture of that has a similar logo. I found one other one but it had no S on the end.

I think I have it solved. The person who originally sold me the jersey sent me some more information that really narrowed it down for me.

I am just waiting for a reply from one more person before I call it a done deal.
But I totally forgot today is a holiday, so I bet they will not get back to me before tomorrow.

I must say, this is a whole genre of baseball I never really thought about until now.
