Georgia Tech has never been known to have used to the color red, the color of its arch rival, Georgia. I have 3 theories about this pennant, all seem unlikely:
1) it's a printing mistake; con: that's a heck of mistake 2) the pennant was printed by a Bulldog alum to own Tech fans; con: seems like an expensive gag 3) Georgia Tech, way back when, actually used red, and history has been wrong; con: there is no evidence of this Other theories anybody? |
