Why does eBay display these product ratings on auctions when they have nothing to do with the actual item or seller?
The ratings talk about the card but not the actual one that you might be selling. For example, I was selling a 59 Fleer Ted Williams # 68 (Ted Signs). The review mentioned that this card might be a fake even though the review was from a year ago and for a different seller. I received several inquiries from buyers asking about that. There are also reviews which might say the seller sucks even though they are talking about a different seller of that card. These ratings are pointless and they do not help sales. They can only hurt them. |
