So I just got my winnings from REA earlier today, a lot of three baseball books. Two of them were beautiful but the third unfortunately had a couple of pages missing and a serious repair to the inside front cover. It was easy to miss, so I certainly could understand.
I emailed Brian Dwyer, told him the situation, and asked him to please get back to me at his convenience, there really was no hurry. I was satisfied with the lot so this was not the most important thing in his day. Three minutes later he responded with a resolution which I gladly accepted! Now we all know what a good job Brian is doing at REA, but this was clearly above and beyond. He could have waited until Tuesday to respond and I would have been fine with it. Thanks again Brian, and here's the best compliment I can offer: you understand how to run a business. |
