Just received my REA winnings from Sunday. Quick. Thx

Nobody can deny how fast they ship. Mine will be here tomorrow. Thanks to everyone at REA for pulling this off.

Is it easy to wire funds to them?

So I just got my winnings from REA earlier today, a lot of three baseball books. Two of them were beautiful but the third unfortunately had a couple of pages missing and a serious repair to the inside front cover. It was easy to miss, so I certainly could understand.

I emailed Brian Dwyer, told him the situation, and asked him to please get back to me at his convenience, there really was no hurry. I was satisfied with the lot so this was not the most important thing in his day.

Three minutes later he responded with a resolution which I gladly accepted! Now we all know what a good job Brian is doing at REA, but this was clearly above and beyond. He could have waited until Tuesday to respond and I would have been fine with it. Thanks again Brian, and here's the best compliment I can offer: you understand how to run a business.

Just a class act all around. I am glad I consign with them and pretty sure consignment payments are just (maybe not as fast as winnings :D) right around the corner....

The free shipping is awesome and a great way to get people to come back. At least with there 20% BP you can figure out what you want to spend and not some surprise when you get your invoice how the others gouge you sometimes on shipping cost. Heck with others you don't know if it's 10.00 or 30.00 shipping at least with REA you know what there's is. NOTHING!!!

With Christies could be $240 for shipping. But they have stuff that make it worth it.

I feel slighted! The one measly card I won didn't arrive until today, 6 days after the auction ended! And then, it took me a half an hour to get it out of the box, because it was packed like it was gold being shipped to Ft. Knox!

But seriously, REA is truly the Gold Standard for customer service!!

I'd like to know that too...I sent a check so I don't expect my winnings to arrive as quickly as you other guys...not this time anyway.

Can't vouch for the wire details, but I mailed a check Monday which arrived Wednesday. My winnings were also mailed on Wednesday and I had them on Friday. Impressive!

I also mailed checked Monday, and had my winning on Thursday. However, I also live less than an hour away, so it obviously didn't take long in transit.

Made payment via personal check which was mailed on Monday, and package arrived today. Very pleased.

I was able to net my consignment $$$ against my purchases and my won items were shipped and received immediately Vero rpofessional.

If I recall correctly REA had winnings delivered the day after the auction to Barry S. :). Now that is fast shipping. Received my goodies days ago. Brian and team are doing a great job.

Correct. The auction ended in the wee hours of Sunday morning, and I had my winnings delivered to my door around 9:00 PM the same night! Please keep in mind that Rob and I were good friends, and there was a discussion going on about fast shipping on Net54. And he knew I would post about it, so that worked out well for everyone.

I also remember being pissed off at somebody ringing my doorbell at that time of night, and giving the guy a hard time, until I realized that he was delivering my auctions lots. And I recall that Rob hired a limousine to deliver the package from New Jersey to Brooklyn. I can only imagine what that cost him.

Amazing customer service. What can you say. The way some of these AH's drag out getting your shipment out the door you'd think you asked them to give you a kidney.

I agree. This one I got 2 days after I sent funds. Feeling spoiled.

Not to derail the thread as REA is amazing, there's another AH that will take at least 9 days after cashing my check to send the winnings. Not happy at all. If everyone could be more like REA it would be a better experience.

First time REA winner and I received my cards today!

REA - received 4 days after the auction ended.

The other AH - 13 days after my payment posted before they shipped because "As either a new customer or someone who has won items of significantly more value than in past auctions, we do need to hold your check until it fully clears. This is stated in our auction rules."

Funny thing about this other AH is I've done over $15k business with them in the past and this invoice was one of the lowest I've had. They promised to ship today, but when I called they said "Maybe Monday".

I have to agree with the great service. Received my winnings the same day my check cashed. Brian and crew are on point like no other.
