I would date this bat as 19th century based on your pictures, on several factors:
1. There is pretty much a straight taper from the barrel to the knob. 2. The handle does not show any concave taper. 3. The type of flare knob is comparable to many of my 19th century bats. 4. The exact measurements and weight would help further. Hard to pick an more exact date without being able to compare it with other period bats. John
