Default Intro (belated)

It just occurred to me that (even though I've posted two threads) I hadn't properly introduced myself.

I'm an artist / designer living in the San Francisco Bay Area... die-hard Giants fan... and a fan of baseball and the cards that document the game.

I collect for the beauty of the cards, mainly, so I don't get hung up on the condition of the card too much. (the odd mark or worn corner adds to the charm)... I consider the Turkey Reds, T205, T206, T207, 33 & 34 Goudey, 41 Playball, 50-52 Bowman & 52-56 Topps to be the most beautifully designed sets. (Hardly surprising, but I'm always discovering something I hadn't seen before) I just bought my VERY FIRST T206 card today... the stunning Mike Powers catcher card from a fellow board member (thanks Frank B.!) and a couple of t207 NY Giants cards...

I create a lot of baseball art... I'll post an example... and I hope to do a lot more... Thanks for letting me part of this pretty amazing community!

Cheers!
