Depression era photos
Following from Ben's recent pre-Black Tuesday photo thread, I thought it might be worthwhile to start a thread for some of our favourite photos from the depression era. To start, here are three of mine:
Some of the Yankees lined-up in a mock identity parade at Boston Police Department, 1931. Included are Lazzeri, Combs and Hoyt.  Babe Ruth at bat, game 4 in the 1932 World Series @ Chicago:  This isn't a photo but, rather, a negative which I purchased at Legendary Auctions last year. From April 1933, it pictures Warneke in addition to Yankee HoF-ers Dickey, Lazzeri but being by Ruth with "All-America Board" certificates. I love this image due to the differing facial expressions of all four, none of whom look particularly enamoured to be having their photo taken:
