Jim, it still comes down to who do you trust. Nothing more and really nothing else. It does not say anyone else but Spence authenticated the item. They might have ten people look at it but it comes down to just that one person.
I agreed that REA has offered to do anything that you want to make sure you are comfortable bidding on there items. If you want to bid on something go for it. If your not comfortable with what you see. Don't. That is what most people do every day when they buy something.
