I agree with Richard on the above , have attached an authentic Anson ALS for comparision. All or almost all originated from the same source Anson's grandaughter. I know because I was aware of them and tracking them down , But Bill Mastro found her first and bought them all.
I was about three months too late. DARN ! That would have been around 20 years ago. Most of the letters and documents were signed by Anson but there were secretarial signatures in the group. Common knowledge at the time and from what I can recall they were sold as "secretarials" Over the course of time however some of them surfaced as authentic Anson signatures as evidenced by the listing referenced in the begining of this thread.
