A slightly different reason
For keeping a card that "does not exist" in a printed tome.
is that if you suspect someone is "stealing" your data; having a false entry in your book or data base can be proved in a court of law. For years it was believe Who's Who in America always printed a few false biographies each year to find out exactly who might be interested in stealing their data. Regards Rich
