Recurring Print Defect - 1969 Topps 585 Ron Swoboda
Picked up a large lot of 69 Topps this weekend (going for my 5th set, obsessed with 69s...) and I noticed a weird streak through the top of #585 Ron Swoboda's card, running through his face. Didn't think much of it...then I had a second Swoboda card...SAME streak. I know this lot of 200 or so cards came from a collector that opened these from packs, so these two cards were most likely from the same wax box...
I went on to Ebay and there are 38 1969 Ron Swoboda's...TWO of them have the same streak...(one is an autographed card). So clearly there is a recurring print defect...probably not super rare but I think it's pretty cool. Was happy to see at least one on Ebay. Is this a known print defect card? Am I late to this party, and now lucky to have found a couple? Seems a sizable defect...
