Several months ago, when Brian let me know that a couple of cards in a large lot of T206s had Howe's stamp on them and they would be in an upcoming REA auction, I was really hoping that I would be able to get my hands on these. Especially the McQuillan, as it is only the second example I've seen that uses Howe's first name, then his middle initial, then the title Agent, Saturday Evening Post. And just like the other, it is stamped in green ink, not the usual black/sorta purple on the other 273 I have, and the 31 I know exist but aren't mine.
I lucked out, and board member Brent was the winner of the lot, and worked with me to add these to the rest in the rebuilt collection. ![]() Again, thanks go to so many people on the board who have helped me with this project.
