Sounds like BS, but these were stored tightly crammed inside wood cigar boxes in Boston for generations.
Hand sorted and appear to be crease-free, VG+ quality Piedmont lot. Most corners show mild wear. Has some horizontals, several minor leaguers and may hold a stray HOF or two. Steve is rock solid if anyone was wondering. The group of cards is really nice and he spot on with the grading. In some cases he is conservative.
