As noted in the Verkman string, I got a strip of 10 W551 cards, representing the whole set. Six or seven are high grade (nominally nm) if I cut them down. Three are lower grade. I have been pursuing the set in high grade and already have a key in SGC 86. The $$ into it are not that great, BTW, approx $12 a card, so it isn't an uncut strip of T206's we are dealing with. |

Leave as a strip...it would look interesting when displayed next to your completed high grade set. |

How difficult is it to find the strips like the one you have? I'm really not into these cards so I don't know how difficult it is to find the entire strips. If it's a fairly difficult find then I'd keep it together. If they are easy to find then have at it. |

I would only cut it if I were not able to upgrade any of the others over time. This may be the only sheet you may ever own or see. Jeff |

I would never cut it...you'd be stupid! Strips are increasing in popularity and value and they're becoming more scarce. It's much more interesting and valuable as a strip. Don't listen to Hal. |

Strip cards are one of thelast bastions of cheap vintage cards. Once people start moving there bargins, they are going to be looking for strips too. Many are already being cut up to produce high grade single. Strips are becoming harder to find all the time. Long term, you are far better off keeping it in tact, especially since it is the complete set. |

but there are still a few mortal locks and one of them is that strip cards will never be anything but unpopular. |

I once felt the same way about the T207 set, way back when. |

i would frame it and put it on my wall, as many times cards get put into a vault rarely to be seen, |
