Default Dean Batter Up Authentic?

Picked this up on ebay. Would appreciate opinions on authenticity. TIA

Far as I can see no issue for this one. It even has a bonus of a 'K' on the back to indicate Dizzy was a strikeout king during his prime.

Have these been faked? With the die cut that would be an expensive proposition.

You would think so, but there's been a lot of die cut stuff like standup displays that have been faked.

I've seen die cutting mats, and they wouldn't be hard to make one that was just good enough.

I think the color on the front and the back of the cardboard looks just fine. Sorry you had to think about it, you just never know these days - Happy collecting!

I agree, Jimmy. It is sad to have to think about i,t but it's reality. Too many fakes and reprints out here. It's been that way for a long time.

And the Dean card looks fine to me. Hard to tell if it's trimmed, from the pic...
