Looks great to me

Seconded. I assume the consensus here will be that it’s authentic but trimmed :D.

Far as I can see no issue for this one. It even has a bonus of a 'K' on the back to indicate Dizzy was a strikeout king during his prime.

Have these been faked? With the die cut that would be an expensive proposition.

You would think so, but there's been a lot of die cut stuff like standup displays that have been faked.

I've seen die cutting mats, and they wouldn't be hard to make one that was just good enough.

I think the color on the front and the back of the cardboard looks just fine. Sorry you had to think about it, you just never know these days - Happy collecting!

I agree, Jimmy. It is sad to have to think about i,t but it's reality. Too many fakes and reprints out here. It's been that way for a long time.

And the Dean card looks fine to me. Hard to tell if it's trimmed, from the pic...

I would be really surprised if that card were to come back as trimmed....................

I was just joking about the propensity around here to declare every card trimmed.

I'm not the only one who noticed that?

On old, sharp looking vintage cards, you might be closer to correct if you say every card is trimmed rather than just thinking some are.

Key take away, don't buy high grade pre-war cards with tiny borders. I see them all of the time and they make me sigh!
.

The back on this card has no value increase. (to be on topic)
