Default card size

I have two Harry Brecheen baseball cards one is 3 3/8 x 5 3/8, I believe it is an Exhibit card #39 1947, the other measure 3 x 4 3/4, what is it? Both look like the same card. They match a 8x10 1947 photo I have. Well 1947 Exhibit is not the same image, but could have been edited. But what with the other size 3 x 4 3/4?

Is anything more known about the photo? Anything on back, where it came from etc...?

Looks like the Bond Bread D305, except the stated measurements are much larger, the size of the exhibit Bonds. Example https://www.tcdb.com/ViewCard.cfm/si...Harry-Brecheen. I’m no expert but I’m not sure Breechen is known on the checklist of the larger cards. Sure looks like one though.

Yes, that is the thing... From what I can tell... Bond Bread 1947 cards are 2 1/4 x 3 3/8 round cornered and Bond Bread premiums are 6 x 5/8 x 9. John

These are the Exhibits that measure about the same as your card: https://www.psacard.com/cardfacts/ba...exhibits/11001.

I don't believe I know of a Breechen in this version, but I'm not a Bond Bread guy. Your card really looks like one to me though

Thanks, G1911 G1911 , for the Baseball Cards - 1947 Bond Bread Exhibits | PSA CardFacts®, article. That is great.
But did you know that in the Vintage baseball standard catalog 4 edition there is no card size listed for that size card under W571? So do you know where PSA article can have the size as 3 1/16 x 4 3/4. And yes it is the same card that is W571... Bond Bread 1947 cards are 2 1/4 x 3 3/8 round cornered.

I'm surprised it wouldn't be in the Standard Catalog, the Arrco 'exhibit' version is not a recent discovery. The smaller round corner cards are the common version. I don't recall every card being known in the larger Arrco run, but I'm not a Bond collector, I just have a few hanging around in my boxes. Can any of our Bond collectors chime in?

I have over 181 photos like the Harry Brecheen, what I am doing is matching photos to Baseball cards. I believe I have about 7 Bond Bread that match, in both sizes...the W571 and Exhibit, the Brecheen is the only one I have in 3 x 3 3/4. I have cards that match many of the other photos... in other cards sets, like Berk Ross, Exhibits and Salutation cards, R423 miniature strip cards and others. One day I hope to post. I do have a couple of links, on the photos in question.
