Goldin announced their Tom Brady card was paid by crypto yesterday but I also realized the final price got adjusted. The hammered price was $1.72M before but now it is only $1.68M. It is only $40k diff, no big deal but I wonder why

no discount for crypto, they offer 3% discount for paying via wire, check, cash, money order, etc and not using a credit card or if paying after ten days. As do a few other AH's

Goldin love to add the extra 3% in to final prices (23% TOTAL) when giving the total price sold. Looks like there is a .5% fee because of course. “Please note that payment is due 10 days from the date of the invoice. Invoices may be paid via cash, check, credit card, Crypto (BTC, ETH), money order, bank check or wire transfer. The Buyer’s Premium will be 20% if payment is made by cashier's check, cash, BTC/ETH, money order, wire transfer, or check within 10 days of the date of invoice. The Buyer’s Premium will be 23% if payment is made using a credit card and/or is not paid within 10 days of date of invoice. Please note that invoices paid via personal check will be held for 5-8 business days prior to shipping. Payments made via Crypto Currency will be subject to 0.5% fee.” |
