I just saw postcard replicas of T206 cards for sale at my local Barnes & Noble. Each box contains several copies of 8 different cards including Cobb, Johnson and Mathewson. It caused me to wonder whether interest in vintage cards has made a further inroad into mainstream culture. [Edit--if this has already been discussed, please feel free to ignore.] Mark |

The T206 Honus Wagner is itself famous outside of baseball and card collecting. When the PSA8 was last sold, it was reported and pictured in the British press, including the BBC. |
