wfeola has a black Lenox, brown lenox and uzit back listed on ebay and on the BST thread. I am interested in hearing from more experienced board members on the authenticity of the cards. They look OK to me (with six months of collecting under my belt!). However, the classic signs of scam appear, being that they are ungraded, sold by a seller with low feedback and a sampling of the other items that the seller has sold or bought are not vintage card related. Any help would be appreciated. They are nice cards and I would like to have one, if possible. |

I will tell you one thing I am VERY happy that the seller will NOT end early. Why can't you guy's just bid like everybody else, or do you think you are above everyone? HA, to all you guys that asked. LOL Rob Oh and yes they do look very real.

Hi wfeola, I wasn't trying to bash you or your cards. We have enough bashing on this board already. However, certain things raised my eyebrows. Since I don't have a lot of collecting experience, I wanted some other peoples opinion's on whether your cards were authentic. |

I do not have any other cards even close to this age. As stated in one of my previous posts, I was given these about 17 years ago. |

If the authentication of grading instilled confidence in a couple of bidders that they were real, it could make a big difference. But maybe the scans are enough. |

My opinion is based solely on the Lenox Marquard (the only card I am interested in). I believe that you likely would have received a PSA 2 or an SGC 30. At those grades you would likely be able to sell the card at the $520 to $580 range. If my assumption is correct you LIKELY would not of benefited by grading since I think you will get something in or near that range anyway. If by chance you received a PSA 3 or SGC 40, then by all means you likely would of benefited since that could add a couple hundred. From the scans, it looks like he card has a crease (chin level, left border), staining on the back, rough bottom edge, and mushy corners, so I really believe a PSA 2 was the likely grade. Don't get me wrong, I am not knocking your card...it's beautiful...just trying to offer an opinion. A number of times, I bought a card assuming it would grade X and only to have it grade X-2 and have the value turn out to be less than I bought it raw. |

My guess is that this thread will help the prices quite a bit. There are approx 800 folks on the board everyday.....and these cards are obviously real. When determining if a cards value will increase with grading I think it's on a case by case basis. It also has a lot to do with who is selling it too. If David Bryan or the like is selling it then a vg'ish common card might not have the value increased much, imo. If you have no history of selling cards, or a low feedback on ebay, then grading by one of the big 4 companies will help the price.....regards |

I thought these three cards brought good prices last night on Ebay. What do the other members think? I think the Drum back which closed as well was pretty strong too. |
