first is 2 allstar bats from 1938 and 39, from a friends parents house where these were found when they moved in many years ago, they are in mint cond. Next is a signed bat by jackie robinson on a roberto clemente model found at a flea market in new york for 75 dollars. it had clear packing tape which had yellowed over the years and i peeled it off real slow and it never affected the autograph. authenticated by jim spence. then a 1870 manufactured baseball found at an upstate antique store for 10 dollars , to bad a piece of leather was missing but where will you see another one.Last a babe herman game used bat with H43 on the knob, which if anyone could date manufacturing period i would appreciate the help. its still great when you can search high and low and not sit on ebay. happy hunting. |
