Default Umpires Managers Announcers Trainers - Let's See Them

Very often we overlook a lot of the people that "Make the World Go Around" when it comes to baseball; umpires, managers, trainers, coaches, announcers, etc.

This thread is for the support personnel, past and present, who keep the game going. Show some of your great autographs of these people! I know there are a lot out there.

I will start with a couple.

The great Cal Hubbard on a Type 1 photograph from his Hall of Fame induction ceremony on August 9, 1976. Cal is the only person that has been inducted into both the Baseball and Football Hall of Fame. He died a short time later on October 17, 1977.

A 1946 New York Central train menu autographed by 26 members of the Cleveland Indians, both players and a couple of significant others. A notable sportswriter for the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Alex Zurin and a pretty tough autograph of long-time trainer, Max "Lefty" Weissman. Weissman was one of the first non-players to have a ball game day named in his honor in 1946.

Check out those food prices in the menu - if only they were like that today.

Let's some support staff autographs!

Oh, it doesn't have to be just baseball - all sports please.

That’s some great stuff!
Very unique.
I felt the same way, about managers being overlooked in favor of stars, hall of farmers, batting champions, etc.
So I started focusing on collecting just the autographs of managers, and to this day have approx. 550…from current back to the 1890s.
Just this week I added new hires Don Kelly and Warren Schaefer.
I am missing about 40 names, those being from the period between 1900 and 1920. They are very scarce and either unavailable or pretty much unaffordable, but every once in a while I get lucky and am able to obtain one of the names on my Want List.
