Was doing some research and saw the legendary site is down. Is this some sort of temp tech problem or does someone know if this is a longer term situation?

They stopped paying their bills so we took the site down.

Sorry to see their archive go as it was great for research. What happens to all their scans and descriptons?

Edited to add: Bob Freedman, it's a static site with a lot of good data. Can we pass the hat around to keep it up?

+1

I (obviously) don't know anything about the property aspect of the data, but I would love to have it available. Definitely a few scans I can think of that I didn't save but should have.

I don't believe they keep the large scans, but the Wayback Machine has 100+ captures since 2009. So you can go to the date when a particular auction would have been the "current" auction and see listings that way.

https://web.archive.org/web/*/Legendaryauctions.com

Even so, I'd still like to have the original site back, at least for awhile.

Cheers,
Steve

It can be pretty difficult to dig deep into a site through the archive, although it's great for front pages.

As one AH goes down (Legendary), PWCC sets record prices across the board.

The AH shuffle is just starting.

Would be nice if an Investigation Shuffle followed the AH Shuffle over to good ol' eBay
