I found this in an antique barn while traveling down to GA with the family last week. Guy wanted $50 for it but took my $25 offer....I thought it was interesting but can't find any info on it or info on the artist (Brad Rock). Does anyone have any idea or info about it? Age? History? Value? Says it's "limited" to 225. I am at work now but if I had to guess the size, I'd say it's close to a 16 x 20.
Any and all opinions, thoughts, and info is appreciated! Thanks ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Hi-
I think you made a good purchase for 25.00 on it. I have not seen it before and am guessing it was made in the last 30 years (based on the design and 1935 maybe it came out in 1995?). I think the value can be partially based on what other limited edition prints sell for but most of the value will come from someone really liking the image. If it helps, I would have bought it at 25 and hoped to get 50-60 for it but it could go for more. I wish I could provide more help. Alan |

smillz, it's a terrific display piece and we'll echo Alan's thought that it was well worth what you paid.
We also agree that it's of quite recent vintage. The artist is clearly quite talented and it's weird that nothing of his work (at least under that name) turns up on-line, although an image search for "Brad Rock" is a little uncomfortable since it turns out there's another Brad Rock who's involved in quite a different line of work... We can't find any advertising for Roadmaster bikes that remotely resembles what you have, so one guess is that it was concept art for an ad campaign that never went forward. Bob Feller was the celebrity/baseball endorser for Roadmaster ad campaigns in the 1950s.

Also, not to be a bubble burster, but Ruth was not with the Yankees in 1935, last season was '34, '35 he was with Boston.
