Why did these topps sheets go for such big $$$??
Hi All:

9k and 4500 seems like a bunch of $$$ on these. I dont know why.
Maybe they had a hard time finding nice clean edges on those black cards. LOL

I don't track this set so don't know what 9's and 10's sell for but you can guarantee a good number of these end up in PSA slabs in the next 16 weeks.

If PSA is going to grade these, would the "hand cut" designation not apply to the cards coming from these sheets or is PSA unable to determine that the cards from these sheets were indeed recently (non-factory) cut?

If you have a good cutter I doubt PSA would be able to tell they are hand cut. I have had a few error sheets cut that would pass as factory cut.

Could be mistaken, but I believe that graders have means to identify cutting techniques by examining cut edges under magnification, but would they bother in this case?
