I wanted to go higher on it, but had a limit. It appears this one might be uncatalogued. Anyone recognize the face? I had a couple ideas, thought maybe Let's ID the man. Adding the picture for quick reference. Hopefully this will help. It's been bothering me.

The gentleman in the cabinet is NOT butt-ugly Egan. There, now we have narrowed it down.

He is Fred Smith. The same image appears on page 125 of Okkonen's Baseball Memories 1900-1909 identified as Smith. It is also used in the 1907 Cin NL head-shot composite in Sporting Life. Also, he is a reasonable match to Fred Smith in the 1904 Terre Haute team photo.

I saw it. i spent two hours matching pictures and the best I could come up with was Cozy Dolan...
Good to know who it is now...I never came across Fred Smith. I can sleep now.
