Thoughts? Two grand with significant writing on the reverse, a bit excessive?

I know very little about T206s but it does say, "advanced collectors value period writing"
![]() -could be as simple as that

Amazed that SGC would grade it that hi with writing on the card

They graded it a 1.5; I think that's consistent with their grading policy.

I think it's a pretty sweet combo. Grading is consistent, even with that amount writing on the reverse.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/T206-John-Ti...ht_1679wt_1349[/QU Not that it would make this card worth $2,000, but the writing on back is consistent with D311 cards I have that originally belonged to Buck Barker, who was an early baseball historian as well as a legendary collector. |

I agree, that does look like Buck's writing...I have a Dooin with the same writing and was once told it looked like Barker's writing.
The good news is the one broadleaf example I have is a Titus also...mine does not have the same eye appeal but I paid about $25 for it about 20 years ago! Joshua |

That card is somewhat intriguing.... Very tough, low pop. Card

Does anyone know what the "St L N. 1918-20" is referring to? He was sold to Kansas City in 1914 and played for them through 1915 when his career ended...

Period writing has to be at least 10 years after issuance since those later stats are included. Looks like a ball point pen also.

I think SGC told me writing on card = SGC 10 when I submitted this one :-( Should I ask for a redo.
