Default REA Catalog

Mine arrived on Friday via UPS. Although the items up for auction are waaaay out of my league, it's still a pleasure to browse through it. Great reference source too.

No magnet this year (sigh), but love the new catalog smell!

*LOL*

Yeah mine came yesterday, and I immediately opened it and fanned the pages in front of my face, savoring the aroma! Couldn't get my 16 YO son to do so though.

As much as I love and use the internet, and very comfortable with it, it is SOOO much better and easier to flip through a printed catalog. In a few minutes I noticed a few items that interested me and I hadn't seen online yet, quickly adding them to my watchlist.

I got mine yesterday, and of course I agree it is simply beautiful. But as I told Rob, it is getting larger with each year and is now becoming a bit unwieldy. Just carrying it and flipping through the pages is work. I think if you lift it over your head fifty times in succession you will get your minimum daily exercise.

I thought I was the only sick one for liking the new catalog aroma. I agree, the items are a bit out of my league, but it is an amazing book to flip through.

The aroma was noticeable too. For me, simply a great reference, and fantastic collectible in its own right. Cant wait to look through it when I get out of work later. The little bit I saw looked amazing. Great stuff and an incredible quality catalog.

I'm a new bidder with them. I put in an early bid on an item. Does anyone know if I will I recieve a catalog by default, or do I have to request one from them?

I bid at REA for the first time last year. Bid early and ended up winning one good lot. Got no catalogue for last year, but this year the 2010 one showed up automatically. It is a thing of beauty!

Cheers,
Blair

UPS pulled in today and I couldn't figure out why as I haven't ordered anything but when he handed me the box I knew what it was.

I really appreciate REA for continuing to send these to me as I have never bid and more then likely will never be able to but I sure enjoy this just like the old Sears Wish Book we used to get while growing up.

Received mine today on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Thanks Rob! Going through the catalog is almost as much fun as plucking cards from your album in the early 1980's.

I e-mailed an auction house with an important question regarding a lot of theirs. No response. I e-mailed again. Again, nothing. So I didn't bid on that, or the other two items I was looking at, nor will I again.

Not getting my catalog on Friday, I e-mailed them and they have sent me three e-mails in response AND I received my catalog today (via the home, even though I use my P.O, which they said they sent there as well) and as usual, an incredible auction that I have only started to glance through.
