I just got 4 of the 1915 cards, raw. They are on cardboard stock, and the backs are upside down from the fronts. In my research, I see they are virtually identical to 1914 with two exceptions: 1914 is very thin cardstock or paper, and 1914 backs are aligned with the fronts, not reversed. The 1915 cards I have are fairly thick. Does that seem proper?

To help the most you should try to post scans. As far as thickness, the 1915s might be slightly thicker but not by much.

Bottom paragraph on the reverse of each reads -

I believe 1914s were much more likely than 1915s to come in boxes of cracker Jacks and thus tend to have much more caramel staining on them. Some of us prefer the stains!!

I think the paper stock is the same - thin - on both '14 and '15s.
