i was watching this auction also and was a little surprised at the final bid price. it is very similar in my opinion to the 1863 st. george's cricket cdv tickets and im guessing thats what the attraction was for the bidders |

I don't know cricket prices, but if it that was a baseball player with baseball and bat, it would probably be worth in the $800 and over range, probably over $1,000. If the winning bid was $600 or $700, then you might wonder if the winner was thinking he was getting a baseball player. But the price is well below baseball pricing. |
