Posted By: jamie
i was watching this auction also and was a little surprised at the final bid price. it is very similar in my opinion to the 1863 st. george's cricket cdv tickets and im guessing thats what the attraction was for the bidders

http://www.jlsager.com/Wright_Stuff/Wright_Stuff.html

Posted By: Aaron Conyers
Jamie, my first thought was the St. George cdv/tickets as well.. when I came across the listing. Thanks for putting up that link. Very much enjoyed viewing them as a group.

CDV on Ebay
Posted By: davidcycleback
I don't know cricket prices, but if it that was a baseball player with baseball and bat, it would probably be worth in the $800 and over range, probably over $1,000. If the winning bid was $600 or $700, then you might wonder if the winner was thinking he was getting a baseball player. But the price is well below baseball pricing.
