I attended the annual Cooperstown card show over this weekends induction ceremony in Cooperstown N.Y. and happen to see 6 1912 tuxedo tobacco cards including Mathewson. I was told by the owner that these 6 cards were the only cards in existence and he offered them to me for $50,000 for the set of 6. I dont know much about these and I have never seen them before. Were they the only ones out there? $50,000 a ridiculus price for 6? I am just looking for some input on these tobacco cards and how rare they really are? |
