Is there a way to remove laminate plastic paper from items? The items I am thinking of were pasted to a piece of paper, and then laminated over the front. I do not care about grading or anything, just want to remove the plastic for aesthetics. Anyone ever done this before or is it impossible? |

I tried to figure out a way in the 80s, but had no success. Not sure if there is anything new out there that will help remove laminent from a card, but it tends to melt into the card making removal pretty much impossible without destroying the card. |

Weather it is heat activated or pressure sensitive laminate,it cannot be removed from a paper stock without damaging the card.I've been working with these products for 10 years and I have only been able to remove them from plastic based media. It must include the use of a solvent that would degrade a paper media. |
