I recently found a couple of items which I have never seen before and was wondering if anyone has ever seen them or can help me out. Neither is much to look at, but at least they are old. |

Like I said, its really ugly, possibly the ugliest stripcard type thing I have ever seen, I was just wondering if anyone has seen anything like it because it looks like a generic stripcard but has to date from before 1908 which would pre-date most tobacco era cards, and would be the first strip card I know of chronologically if that is what it is. |

I did a quick search on the internet and found that Henry Altemus was a famous book-binder in Philadelphia in the late 19th and early 20th century, during the time Waddell played for the A's. Perhaps these are little bookmarks made by them, or some promotional tool? Who knows. |
