Sorry that I can not help with any of those cards, but I do have a question for those with more complete sets than mine. I have 63 different cards or 50% of the set. If these cards are equally scarce as the guides indicate - then the chance that I would not have 1 of these cards is 2 in 1000 or .2% - so I think that some cards are rarer at this point in time. Weather they were at issue is another matter. Maybe the cards are from less popular teams or players at the time of issue and disappeared rapidly after issue. Any thoughts? |

Peter, great question - I'm kind of curious about this myself and have wondered this same thing about a number of other sets (ie...t209, d311, 1909 Obaks...etc..) |

I agree. I don't care too much about condition. |

I think what you guys need to do is resign yourselves to the fact you'll never complete the set and sell your cards to those of us who are working on the set (1911 Zs) |

Arlett is the 4th toughest card in the set and since Weaver is collected because of who he is and Halla is so tough because he is a horizontal card, I think he is really #2 behind Bohen. |

I'd lean towards agreeing with TBob here. Weaver and Peckinpaugh really aren't all that scarce/tough in my opinion. They do carry a premium because of what happened later on with their careers and that makes them more desireable, not necessarily scarce. I've seen Halla cards pop up from time to time and I know where a couple might be right now. Arlett I'm not sure about although I do see that, aside from Bohen, that is the only card that Ben and I both need. As for Bohen, I did hear a story about the Bohen card being removed from production (ala t206 Wagner) so that could be the reason for that card's scarcity. I don't really believe the theory about Bohen's card being scarce because he was Jewish because Bohen's 1912 Zeenut seems to be pretty readily available. |

Here is the complete list. I consider the set complete at 122 cards. Cut and paste those that you have leaving what you need: |

When I put together my "catcher pose" subset of the 1911 Zeenuts last year, the last one I needed of the twelve catcher poses was Chester Thomas. I noticed that both Tbob and Steve need that card. |

Peter- Larry Fritsch has only 2 Zeenuts left and one of them is a Patterson Vernon, sounds like vgex over the phone. Decent price, you might want to give him a call if you need it. |
