Softball bats hold little or no value other than as wall hangers for restaurants. The Dimaggio has a little value, but the condition like you stated is poor. I would simply clean them up and display them. |

Wipe them with a damp cloth then apply lemon oil. Don't mess with the tape. The trouble it takes to clean off the residue is not worth the effort. You will also uncover something ugly most of the time. |
